Crosland has worked with some of Australia's largest sporting leagues and governing bodies including AFL, Tennis Australia and NRL to create and deliver digital solutions in the areas of integrity, governance, and operations. She has supported the successful expansion of sportstech products into European and US-based organisations.  In Crosland’s new role, she will work closely with ASTN’s executive team to lead special projects spanning sustainability, education and women in sport.

“We’re thrilled to have Amy join ASTN’s executive team. Amy’s passion for the potential of technology to drive innovative solutions, big ideas, and real change within the sporting landscape is matched only by her enthusiasm for sports,” said Dr Martin Schlegel, Executive Chair, ASTN.

In July, ASTN received funding under the Advance Queensland Initiative to increase the success of female-founded sports technology and innovation (sportstech) businesses in Queensland. Crosland will continue to lead this program, helping to prioritise Queensland-based female sportstech founders into ASTN’s renowned early-stage program (pre-accelerator) and specialised activities like masterclasses and workshops designed to enhance pathways for women in sportstech. “I am looking forward to combining my love of sport with my passion for technology. I'm eager to help change the ratio of women in sport – as well as contribute to ASTN's mission and collaborate with emerging Australian sportstechorganisations to connect them with ASTN’s world-class programs and networks,” said Crosland.   It's such an exciting time in Australia for sportstech. There will be so many opportunities ripe for the taking over the next decade – and I’m looking forward to playing a role in helping the next generation of sportstech startups to succeed,” added Crosland.
