Sport & Smart Cities Networking Breakfast

The breakfast is organised as part of the Dutch Government's Partners for International Business (PIB) program, which supports Dutch companies and knowledge institutions in developing international markets and building long-term partnerships.

The event will provide an opportunity to connect the Dutch delegation with Victoria's sport, innovation and business ecosystem, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for future collaboration and partnerships.

Ardi Stoios-Braken: Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Australia

Gönül Serbest: Commissioner for Victoria to Europe, Middle East, Türkiye and Africa.
Gönül will provide a Victorian perspective on the state’s ambitions, international engagement and the support available to businesses looking to connect with Victoria.

Dr Martin Schlegel: Australian Sports Technologies Network
Martin will share his perspective on Australia’s sports technology ecosystem, innovation and commercialisation, and opportunities for international collaboration. His work with ASTN focuses on start-up programmes, global partnerships and export growth.

Camil Smeulders: Orange Sports Forum
Camil will introduce the Dutch Sport & Smart Cities PIB delegation, its participating organisations and its ambitions for collaboration in Australia.

Eelco Lijding: Netherlands Chamber of Commerce Australia
Eelco Lijding is President of the NCCA, connecting Dutch and Australian business communities and supporting stronger commercial and professional ties between the two countries.
